INTRODUCTION

The History of Genovasi Centre for Higher Learning (CHL)

Established more than a decade ago back in the year 2012; Genovasi CHL primary aim is to train Malaysian men and women of all races from all walks of life, creed and religion on various knowledge and skills primarily driven by design thinking.

 

Functions as an important arm of the University, CHL has undertaken and carry out many training courses for executives from industrial, services and professional sectors. These include the key staff and management of the civil service, arm forces, uniform bodies, Malaysia’s Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Multinational Corporations, and foreign embassies that are based in Malaysia.

 

These courses are aimed to increase the core skills and knowledge that help elevate the effectiveness and core competencies of workforce of the 21st century. Though many participants may possess formal qualifications ranging from Diploma to Doctorate, many lacked the skills and knowledge which formed the core skills that defined the employability and employment today. This training provide hands on training and practice and skills of the real life, real world scenarios. 

 

In the Age and Era of IR4.0 and AI (Industrial Revolution 4.0 &Artificial Intelligence), the roles and importance of CHL has increased exponentially. More than ever, CHL aimed to help fulfill the aspirations of the Malaysian Government as well as nations from all around the globe, by aiming to train and develop young men and women resulting in final outcomes which is - producing high quality and demand-driven skilful and knowledgeable workers that are properly equipped to the needs of Malaysia and who possess high ability to compete in various highly demand, highly reward industry and economic sectors.

 

Through its key partners and strategic alliances, CHL envisage its future roles with aim to address the core skills and competencies required by the industry and society according to the international standards, as well as complementing the University as a whole. As such, the new thrust of CHL in retraining, reskilling and rejuvenation of knowledge workers in every branches and industries should augurs well for the university, society, industries and nations. 

 

Ultimately, the aims and hope of CHL is to participate, contribute and be the fore-runner in the effective training and multiskilling of workers; preparing Malaysians and workers from around the world to work, live and function in the Age and Era of the IR 4.0 and AI thus fulfilling our Nation Building key objectives.
